Rockin’ Thursday XLIV

For today’s Rockin’ Thursday, I’m featuring “Summer of ’69” by Bryan Adams, a Canadian singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, and photographer. The song was released in 1985 and reached the number 5 spot on the U.S. Billboard charts that same year. The video is from this year, and at 65, the man is still rocking it!

I know some in my WP community were “young and restless” back in the summer of 1969, so I hope you enjoy the video and have a wonderful Rockin’ Thursday!!

  1. This is one of my all-time favorite songs! 🎶 It never gets old, and wow, he’s still got it. 😎 Such a fun video! 😂 Funny enough, I was born in the fall of ’69 🍂

  2. As a Canadian … I’m familiar with much of Bryan Adams’ work. Although this tune was released in 1985, when I had pretty much traded in rocking for the busyness of career, married life, and raising our daughter … I very much enjoy it now and it’s on one of my power walking playlists.

    1. So, you were one of the “young and restless”—just kidding! I think I was one of the “young and restless” when I was 17 or 18. I like his songs, and he is a great musician. Thank you for visiting, Liz.
