Today I’m featuring “La Grange” by the American rock band ZZ Top. The song was released in 1973 and reached number 41 in 1974. This was one of the last appearances of Dusty Hill—if not the last. Dusty Hill died on July 28, 2021.
I hope you enjoy the video and have a wonderful, Rockin’ Thursday!

ZZ Top was just in Hawaii performing in January when we were there. We saw him in the lobby, its 80 degrees outside, and he’s in a black blazer, black pants and black hat, very skinny guy and so classy in his outfit!

Wow, that’s cool. Yeah, they’re easy to recognize with the way they dress and the long beards.

He is iconic, with that long beard and sunglasses. Excellent.

Deep voice, great picking and good to see him having such fun shortly before he left the planet, Edward! Thanks for sharing! 💕

That video was part of a documentary, probably his last appearance, and it was excellent.

Saw them in Worchester, they certainly rocked the joint but that was over 20 years ago 🙂

I had forgotten about this one. I do have Tush on one of my walking playlists, so I’m a fan. Thanks for the reminder!

I think I started liking a few of their songs about 15 years ago, and this one is definitely my favorite. I remember watching some of their music videos on MTV and thinking, “What the hell is that?” I’m good with them now.
