Vixen is an American rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1980. They achieved commercial success during the period from 1987 to 1992. Throughout their career, they produced two hits that made the Top 40: “Edge of a Broken Heart,” which reached number 26, and “Cryin’,” peaking at No. 22. For today’s edition of Rockin’ Thursday, I’m featuring “Edge of a Broken Heart,” released in 1987. It’s my favorite out of their two top hits. The song was written by Richard Marx. That’s going to be hard since I have been cutting my hair pretty short since I was 13 (when I used to have hair). Maybe one with skinny jeans. 🤣
