Europe is a Swedish rock band formed in 1979 that is still active. The band has many awesome songs, such as “Carrie” and “Rock the Night,” but my favorite is “The Final Countdown,” released in 1986. I hope you enjoy the song and watch the excellent guitar solo towards the end. Have a great Rockin’ Thursday, my friends.

That’s awesome. That’s the 80s, you should play Rocky’s “Eye of the Tiger” at the beginning of the semester to get them all motivated.

I have motivational quotes all over my classroom amd we watch motivational videos if we finish our tasks early. To get their attention, I have a callback ode to David Goggins, “We don’t quit when we are tired, we quit when we are (class) done!”

Great song. I think it has more cameo’s in movies than any other from the 80s. But that’s just me thinking of every movie where I heard the iconc refrain.
