Starship is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, that started in 1984. Their hits included “We Built This City,” “Sara,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” the latter featured in the 1987 American romantic comedy “Mannequin.” Today, I’m featuring “We Built This City,” which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.
