For today’s edition of Rockin’ Thursday, we have The Runaways, an all-female rock band formed in 1975, consisting of Cherie Currie, Lita Ford, Joan Jett, and Sandy West. Their hit, ‘Cherry Bomb,’ was released in 1976, and I think Joan Jett and Lita Ford are rockin’ it, especially Lita towards the middle of the song (around 1:06). So true. There is a local beer with the same name, Cherry Bomb, in the Quad Cities so I guess I need the dance to this song after drinking a couple of those to burn some of the calories. 🍺🕺😁

Agreed. One of the best versions of that song I’ve heard.
Side note: Ace Frehley released a cover of it a few years back that features none other than Lita herself. That one is pretty rocking too.
